* 1 cup brown rice - short or medium grain brown rice is best
* 2 cups water |

| Directions : |
|
1. Bring rice and water to a boil in a covered pot.
2. Turn the heat down as low as possible.
3. Cook for another 45 minutes.
4. Do not stir.

| Add a carrot for sweetness. Cut into chunks or put it in whole. |
